FAQs
The Playing Experience
-
Pickleball is easy to learn, a blast to play, and promotes physical activity and social interaction. The game is played on a smaller court than tennis, which allows for quick rallies and lots of movement. The lighter ball and smaller paddles make it easier for kids to control and hit the ball, leading to a sense of accomplishment and confidence.
-
Our maximum player to coach ratio is 6:1.
-
We use portable nets and cones to build temporary courts on the school’s outdoor asphalt area.
Sign-Up Questions
-
There will be no refunds or make-ups for classes missed by an individual.
-
Our clinics run rain or shine, except in the event of a heavy thunderstorm. There will be no refunds for rain days.
-
We do our best to put friends in the same group. You can indicate the friend your child wants in their lesson when you sign up.
Day-of Logistics
-
Your child should bring a water bottle and wear comfortable clothing for pickleball. All other equipment including pickleball paddles will be provided.
-
Parents are encouraged to watch. Seating availability will depend on the location.
