PicklePlayground brings high-energy pickleball sessions directly to your daycare. Our trained instructors run age-appropriate programs that keep kids active. All staff member have completed vulnerable sector background checks. We provide all equipment, handle setup and takedown, and accommodate up to 24 children per session. It’s an easy, turnkey way to add an exciting physical activity to your daycare’s schedule!

School Age Program (6-12 years old)

Over a 1-hour session, children learn stroke development and game play through age-appropriate pickleball activities, all while staying active. Sessions are adaptable to different skill levels and group sizes.

FAQs

Quality Standards

  • We prioritize safety, professionalism, and top-tier instruction. All our instructors meet the highest quality standards to ensure a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment for every player.

    Background Screening – Instructors aged 18 and over undergo a Vulnerable Sector Police Check, while those under 18 must complete an Offence Declaration Form.

    Pickleball Training – Our instructors receive specialized training to deliver pickleball coaching.

  • Our maximum player to instructor ratio is 6:1. We can accommodate up to 24 children per session by bringing in 4 instructors.

 

Day-of Logistics

  • All equipment including pickleball paddles will be provided. We require an outdoor asphalt area or school gym to set up the courts.

  • Our Head Coach will arrive about 20 minutes ahead of time to set up equipment. There will also be a 15-minute cleanup & takedown period after the session ends.

  • We encourage daycare staff to stay and enjoy the session while monitoring children’s behaviour.

  • We accept online payments through Stripe (credit card payment). We also accept payments via e-Transfer. Payment can be made when sessions are booked, or after a session.

  • We use portable nets and cones to build temporary courts in the daycare’s outdoor asphalt area or gymnasium.

  • If the clinic is being held outdoors and it rains before the clinic, a makeup day can be scheduled at the discretion of the daycare.
